No. Notion is a database with a document interface. Thoute is an outliner — every piece of information is a bullet, and the structure is fluid. The closest comparisons are Workflowy, Roam, and Tana.
We use them too. Thoute's bet is on three things they don't combine: end-to-end encryption by default, task management as a first-class block type, and multiple lenses (flat outline, tags, graph, attachments) over the same data.
